The September kit from C'est Magnifique Kit Club is so gorgeous with fantastic papers from the Danish company Riddersholm Design.

I tried to combine the soft, delicate flowers with the joyful banner to create a sense of happiness, which is the title of this page. The happiness that my daughter feels when riding her horse at riding camp this summer.

C'est Magnifique September kit

It's time to reveal the September kit from C'est Magnifique. I have already shown you one of my layouts using this kit along with the gorgeous flower add-on kit and the embellishment add-on kit. The papers featured in this kit are from Riddersholm Design, a Danish company. You can purchase the kit here and sign up for a subscription here.

C'est Magnifique also has a web store filled with other goodies. Right now there is a lot of the new stuff from Prima like the resins, flowers, papers etc.

Spread your wings and soar

This is a happy photo of my dear son. It's very important for me that my children are happy. I really want them to spread their wings and soar. I created this layout using soft colours, soft doilies and happy banners. The open birdcage symbolizes freedom and the compass direction. Both of them are needed to create happiness.

Summer is my favourite season. Not only because of the sun and the warmth, but most of all because I get to spend so much time with my family and friends. This layout is made for this month's challenge at Once Upon A Sketch.

Theme: Season (Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring)
We would like you to create a layout and interpret the theme "Season" however you like based on the following sketch. You can journal as little or as much as you like, but your layout must incorporate this theme and the sketch below. Please make sure that we see some sort of journalling on your layouts and please tell us where your journalling is . Today I have a first sneak peek at the September kit from C'est Magnifique. I just love the softness of the gorgeous flowers in the September kit and the flower add-on. And here I have added most of them. LOL And then I had to put myself in the middle of the flower cluster. I can almost feel the scent of them. ;-)

Guest designing for Prima Part 4

I love playing with Prima products. Here is another layout I made as their guest designer in August.

My darling small niece was all dressed up in her bathing suit. She was waiting devotionally by the sprinkler. The water starts to spray. Then her courage is totally gone and she starts to cry. The comfort of being in her mother's arms makes her calm.

For Glitz in August

Hi all! Camilla here today with two layouts made for the Glitz blog. The first one is made with the Happy Travels collection, perfect for soft boyish layouts - the blue and beige looks awesome together. The title "I carry your heart with me" is from one of the cardstock stickers. I cut the edges to make it a banner. I dabbed a bit of gesso on the papers to make them a bit white washed.

It is not easy being a teenager. It is not always easy to be the mother of a teenager. But I know I am so blessed to have my beautiful teenager, to have the privilege to guide her from childhood into adulthood.

Guest Designing for Prima Part 2

Time to reveal my second layout as Guest Designer for Prima.

This summer my daughter went to a riding camp for the very first time. She had five wonderful days with Fonzie, a white pony. Of course she was crying when I came to take her home after those five days. This layout is made from the colourful August PPP, lots of fun colours together. I used a neutral background so that I could mix all those gorgeous Prima flowers.

Guest Designing for Prima Part 1

I am so excited to be Prima's Guest Designer in August. My first project is this one:

The August sketch was a bit different to how I usually scrap, but I tried to make it my style. Some people think you cannot use flowers on boy's layouts. I say you can, otherwise my boy wouldn't have any pages in his scrapbook albums. LOL I combined the soft colours in the Nature Garden papers with more colourful flowers, but kept the center flower earthly to match the colour of the alphabet.
