My dear daughter has always dreamt of having a horse of her own. Unfortunately we think it's way too much work and money. This summer she got to go to a horse riding camp for a couple of days where she got to have her very own horse.

I must say I love the upcoming October kit from C'est Magnifique - the colours and the patterns. Here I have made some distressing and also added some extra pattern by using a mask (from the CM store). To make the large chipboard piece a background I divided it into two pieces so that it peeks out both over and under the photos. The layout is about wishing the best for your children. The journaling is hidden on the tag.

For Glitz in September

I have two new layouts made for Glitz Design. I just love how versatile Glitz Design papers are. There is something for every style. First I created this layout in soft, pale colours using some of the white-washed papers in the French Kiss collection.

Then I made this layout in heavy, happy colours using the gorgeous Pretty in Pink collection. The colours just makes you go Wow! And I couldn't resist adding small pops of black with the stamp in the middle and the title at the photo.

My two children are playing in front of the camera. It's so good to see that they can have a good time together. I took the picture this summer in the middle of the forest outside of Kivik, a small picturesque  village an hour away from home.

Tutorial for Glitz Design

Hi everybody! I have created a tutorial for Glitz about creating dimension. This is the layout I'm going to use as an example. I hope you will enjoy it!

Here is the tutorial:

First, mists or gesso/paint create a layer on top of the paper. By adding a paper behind the background and also tearing a bit in the background paper creates lovely dimension and depth.

Further dimension is created by adding two of more photo mats behind the photo. I use 3D foam between the different layers.

Because I have used 3D foam it's easier to tuck in different embellishment to create a sense of depth. Here's a resin piece.

And some chipboard and flowers.

Don't just layer paper, layer flowers too.

And then some pearl swirls as an extra layer.

Then some embellishment on top of the flowers and the alpha on top of the photo. I hope you have enjoyed the tips.
