This lovely smile isn't really for me. He is smiling because Santa Claus is there. I have used the large yellow flower so set off against the green and beige colours in the lovely Maja Design papers in the February kit from C'est Magnifique.

Mirakel

Every newborn is a miracle. And you can sit there for hours just watching them and holding them. The frame from Blue Fern Studios is painted in beige acrylic paint and then covered in clear crackle paint. If you find the purple hearts from Prima hard to use you can always cut them up and use them as vines like I have. The lovely papers are from Maja Design.

C'est Magnifique Feb reveal and a layout

It is reveal day at C'est Magnifique. The February kit is called Royal Tea Party and features beautiful papers from the Swedish Maja Design. 

The February kit from C'est Magnifique has so many gorgeous flowers - like a flower garden. In my cluster you find many of them, framing the photo of my niece and her horse. And yes - my niece has wings. You have to have fairy wings when you ride a fake horse. LOL

Here is my sneak peek layout with the February kit from C'est Magnifique. On this layout I was a bit more playful than I usually am. My niece is acting princess and was having so much fun. The gorgeous dress form from Blue Fern Studios is painted in white. I used some of the purple mist that came with the kit and I also used a mask to create the white pattern in the background. The leaves are sprayed with the green mist from the embellishment add-on. The papers in the kit are from Maja Design.

C'est Magnifique February kit papers and add-ons:
It's always an exciting time of the month when we can give you a little peak at what's coming in our February Kit.  Of course, we're not ready to give away all our secrets, but we would love to show you the beautiful paper that will be in the kit - the Ska-vi-ta-en-fika line from Maja Design.  This collection has a little bit of everything!  If you would like to order additional paper to go with your kit, or would like to have just the paper, it can be found here in our store.

Av Hela Mitt Hjärta

I rarely scrap about myself. Perhaps it is because I don't like to be photographed or because what I have to say about myself is more private. But for my journaling on this page I have added an envelope - a perfect way to hide notes. On this layout I did some ripping and tearing to create a worn look. The Maja Design papers all have fabulous names, perfect to use as titles. My layout is called Av Hela Mitt Hjärta, which is written in Latin on the light grey paper.The torn edges are creating by using a distresser tool but I do some of the tearing with my hands and fingers too. The Maja Design papers are thick and it makes it easy to tear them beautifully. I found some flowers that matched the beautiful purple colours of the Crea Diem papers. Hi all! Camilla here today with two new layouts that I made for Glitz Design. First a layout with the Yours Truly collection. I made a layout with an easy design and neutral colours. I want the lovely Peek-A-Boo to show. It says "What you do, the way you think is what makes you beautiful".

Redo för 2013

Today is the day for my first blog post at Blue Fern Studios. I am really excited to be a part of this adventure together with Leslie, Michele and all the girls in the designteam. Blue Fern Studios offers the most beautiful and elegant chipboards out there and I am proud to be using them. Make sure to let your favourite shop know about Blue Fern Studios chipboards so that you will be able to buy them.

This is my first layout for Blue Fern Studios and what's more appropriate than a layout of me saying I am ready for 2013. 

For this layout I have used the gorgeous Floral Wreath. First I applied a layer of Distress Crackle Paint (tattered rose) and then dabbed some white gesso here and there. To finish it off I inked the edges with charcoal ink.

Nyhavn

Today is the day for my first blog post for Maja Design and I am proud to present a layout with one of my favourite paper collections - Crea Diem. This summer we went on a day trip to Copenhagen and walked down to Nyhavn, a very picturesque part of the city. We had a really great time in the sunshine and in the company of friends.

I used the floral paper Känn dig själv as background, but to make the layout less busy I added the blue Sin lyckas smed on top. To create a sense of layering I used a mask creating a pattern with white texture paste. Then I added some more gorgeous Maja Design papers and a few punched borders.

As I said I love layering and not only layering papers. Adding some tags and note papers behind the photo and also a chipboard frame painted in white gesso around the photo brings even more layers and dimension to a layout. Since I love flowers and bling I created flower clusters to frame the photo. 

The title is simply Nyhavn and a small bird is sitting on top.

C'est Magnifique January sketch

Silver Glitter

Winter is beautiful when there is a lot of snow and everything sparkles like silver glitter. In December we had the most beautiful winter landscape and I took some pictures of the kids outside.

This is my first official work for Maja Design. Every month the Maja blog presents a mood board to inspire you to scrap something. The mood board gives you colours, poems, words and photos to make you inspired. I have used the Vintage Winter collection from Maja Design.
